Workflow's been speeding up and I'm already working on another piece for Sachi's brother aka my future brother-in-law

It's crunch time till the 31st...gotta get all these pieces done, mounted and framed while still going to school and working every other day and depriving myself from decent sleep...

Chubby Boob spoiler pt_3

I'm jumping a little ahead of the process, anxious to see how the watercolour behaves in comparison to acrylics and oils

I'm seeing a bit of what I lacked in art class but quickly finding solutions. I don't wanna waste good paper for scrap so I used some vellum. The watercolour absorbs a lot better and is more malleable on the D'arches, more forgiving than the vellum

Anyways, got a few splashes of color here and there, haven't finished a complete black outline yet but all is progressing quite pleasantly

On a heavier note, my school started this Monday which happens to be my birthday...eh, sucked. Been celebrating my birthday since Saturday night, had endless hangovers and rollover drunkeness including my first MANDATORY day of school. Class started at 8, slept at 330 from drinking...woke up AT 8 STILL drunk as fuck, swerved my ass all the way to school, showed up 30 minutes late, made it before I got dropped and left the class 3 times to yack...yup it has been one hell of a bang coming out of my 24th year

I know it's been a bit quiet on here, but I couldn't spoil the surprise piece I was doing for Joemm's birthday but I finally had the chance to give it to him early

Here's the beginning stages of it in graphite:

Been thinking about this piece for a few months now, I went with a traditional flash piece look. Did my homework on materials, styles and techniques and this is what I've been working with:

-D'Arches 140lbs. Hot Press rag
-Speedball Calligraphy pen set (cartooning set)
-B-5 pen nib
-super black indian ink
-Van Gogh & Blick watercolors
