Fall and winter, my two favorite seasons of the year. Time to bundle up, stack on layers of clothes, and fill that flask up with some whiskey to warm you up. I've been playing Christmas songs since September slowly building up my playlist.
E.D.A. (let's keep it simple with the abbreviations) is another gem of many that I had my eye on. Came here for lunch before enduring 4 hours of karaoke with the wifey.
The dinner menu offers more signature dishes such as the chop boards with a variety of cheeses and breads. I'm definitely gonna have to return to try that out.
Modest amount of beers on tap with a good selection varying from a strong IPA to a more lighter Hefe. I had the Ohana Belgian-Style which had a note of sourness to it but smoothed out just like a Belgian shoud.
As you can tell, the interior design was what had me constantly turning my head around to admire the very gritty, vintage aesthetics of the restaurant which tied everything together to give that traditional "AMERICANO" feel. Pulled that off eh?
The chopping board specialty isn't offered for lunch but I tell ya what, I sure wasn't disappointed with the other dishes they were serving for lunch. Definitely on a lighter note than what you expect from a gastropub, but I'm not complaining at all, keeps that gut tucked away.
