Every semester that fashion photography is offered, the two departments fashion and photography come together to shoot an end of semester final project.
It's a great opportunity for us to get multiple shots of different models all ready and dolled up. Hair, make-up artists, and of course the dress designers provided. Also benefits the dress designers providing them some pieces for their portfolio as well.
My group and I had the best location. We were the first ones to check in and the first to check out. Swiftly we managed to get the biggest and most natural lit location in the whole vicinity.
Despite the rain we still had a lot of workspace but this also means more volume and frequency of demands from the models and their designers. I snapped at least 1,000 shots by the end of the non-stop 5 hour shoot.
