These Colors Never Run
Last weekend at the REEF LA (formerly known as LA Mart), fans and vendors of traditional workwear and vintage cultures congregated together for the annual event, Inspiration LA. This was my first time attending this event and I was very lucky to work with such a rad bunch of folks. This was RedWiteBlue's second time attending and with the help of Old Crow Speed Shop and some friends, the booth came to life. As if the clothes and denim didn't draw enough attention, the overall vibe was keeping our booth busy. It's funny when you finally meet someone you follow on Instagram in real life, sometimes you don't even know their real name but when you see them it's like seeing a celebrity. The boys, Mario and Edwin, from RWB and Bobby from Old Crow Speed Shop are the most humble guys I've met even though their reputations within the industry precedes them. As their presences at these shows becomes more influential, they continue to push the envelope every year. With a strong family heritage in workwear and denim, these guys were born to pioneer this industry and culture even further.

Edwin is a master of his craft and knows a lot of history when it comes to workwear and denim.

Nothing but smiles and good times with Bobby and Mario

Willis flew all the way from Sydney to be part of the RWB Pit Crew and help out with the booth as well as find future prospects to be featured in one of his boutique shops, New Vintage Store. Willis brought RWB to Australia, since then became good friends with Mario and Edwin. I can't wait to make that trip out to Australia, mate!

Another part of the RWB family, Matthew Hodgman, flew all the way down from Minnesota to knock back a few cold ones and run the booth. Matt's a solid portrait photographer and runs his own studio. It's rare to come across traditional style photographers these days who are honest and passionate about their work. Check out some of his work!

Matt's grandpa used to run an antique car shop and unfortunately burned down in the 1960's. All the workers wore one of these herringbone work coats, this one specifically belonged to a gentleman named Carl. All the other coats were found and recovered but the mysterious thing was, the only one they couldn't find was his grandpa's. Cool history behind the coat and fitting to the style of our booth.
Other than the steady flow of customers and buyers, friends of the company in the industry stopped by to show some love and support.
Cheers to the RedWiteBlue Family!
