The Americana Revival

When you live in a cultural melting pot, especially cities like Los Angeles, you get a variety of heritages that shape the city to what it is today. Because of this, we get a mix of histories from different time eras and cultures. Vintage culture is encapsulates those moments in time and reminds us of the nostalgic past even if we never lived in that period. Whether it be the colors, the materials, the cut - each detail is part of the whole story of each piece. As time goes on, the older, rarer, most original pieces become more valuable. For successful taste makers, like Jamie Wong, the owner of Raggedy Threads, curating the right pieces for her shop takes years of researching, collecting and traveling. Receiving international recognition for her shop has landed her pop-up shop features with her most recent debut in Hong Kong. These were some of the pieces she brought over and a browse around of what you can expect to find at her shop in Little Tokyo.
