≫第一章_東京
≫Not much has gotten me inspired lately. Cali can only go so far for me, same routine, same slumps. I stick to Japanese culture because everything about it inspires me, the colors, the people (especially the women), streets, lifestyle, fashion, even the way their language is written triggers my creative impulses. Sure I don't completely understand what they say or what things mean, but the visual candy is more than enough for me.
In summer 2008, I got the privilege to make a month travel with Chiharu to explore Japan. Starting from Tokyo, through Kansai, then ended up in Kyushu. Amazing! She took me to all the cultural monuments big and small. It was more enjoyable since we have a lot of friends from all over Japan there. So we got to reconnect with them like we promised each other we would.
I know this is a recap and I had more pictures on my older blog (takohentaireturn.blogspot.com) but I skimmed through some of the other pics I didn't get to use and I narrowed them down to more sentimental pictures. Edited them differently in contrast to the mood I got from each picture. I guess getting down to what I really saw, not just the partying and drinking, but the sites and architecture of what inspires me the most.
Well here we go, starting from my stay in Tokyo. Stayed with my friend Shinta who lives in the Shinagawa prefecture. He lives in a "MANSION," pretty much the size of a condo in Cali, but consider that Japan is one of the most overpopulated countries in the world yet is nearly the size of Cali.
Anyways, enough talk, more inspiration! Ladies and gentlemen, the first chapter of my Japan trip, I give you the sites of Tokyo according to me! Enjoy!
